When building a Yamaha R7 Superbike, air flow becomes a problem, and overboring the throttle body to increase flow is the cure. We have dyno tested performance with straight bore and tapered bore throttle bodies and prefer to use the largest straight bore throttle bodies for maximum performance. Our Yamaha R7 throttle bodies are bored more than 5mm over the OEM size to increase air flow potential by 30%! New butterfly valves are CNC cut and installed for a perfect fit.
