This MUST be done by a professional for proper functionality!!! *****PLEASE READ***** We HIGHLY recommend sending your forks in for installation.  The price for installation is VERY reasonable and usual turn around time is less than one business week, so you wont be off the road for long! A few special tools are needed to install a fork damper rod kit or cartridge kit into a Yamaha R3 or Kawasaki Ninja 400 motorcycle. These bikes use damper rod style forks, so the fork tubes must be modified slightly to accommodate certain cartridge kits including the Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 and Andreani Misano kits. To ensure you are getting ALL of the benefit of the expensive kits you have purchased, we HIGHLY recommend sending your forks in for installation. Usual turn around time is less than one business week, so you wont be off the road for long!
